How do I reserve the Friedman Park Event Center?Check to see if your date is available and then contact us to discuss your event. For Banquet Hall events, we require a signed rental agreement and 30% deposit in order to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 90 days before the event. For Meeting Room events, a signed rental agreement and full payment is required to make the reservation.

How many hours does the rental fee resvere the space for?Meeting Room rentals are for a block of 5 consectutive hours. Banquet Hall rentals are for a block of 10 consectutive hours. These times include both set up and tear down. Additional hours are available for an additional charge. Specialized Wedding and Event packages are also available.

Do you offer any discounts?Yes we do. We allow one discount per rental. We offer a 5% Military discount, a 5% Warrick County resident discount, or a 40% Charity Non-Profit discount for all qualifying programs.

What payment options are available?We take credit cards and checks. Please refer to our payment section in the rental agreement for full details.

What is your cancellation policy?Meeting Rooms can be canceled within 7 days of rentals for refund. Banquet Hall rentals refunds depend on when they are cancelled. Cancellations made 9 months in advance are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made between 9 months and 3 months of event date recieve a 70% refund. Cancellations made within 3 months recieve no refund, but can reschedule and apply 70% of their rental to the new date.

Do you have an open vendor policy?We do have an open vendor policy. There is a list of vendors who have already been aprroved to provide services, however vendors may be added to the list at anytime as long as they provide us with the required documentation.

What is your catering policy?We offer an open vendor policy. We provide a list preapproved caterers that do a great job and that have worked with us before. New caterers must be approved, be fully licensed and insured and sign a catering agreement. Our fully equipped catering kitchen is strictly for prepping, plating, and presentation of food; no cooking is allowed.

What is your alcohol policy?The following vendors are the only approved liquor vendors for the Friedman Park Event Center: Double D's, Prime Time, Acropolis, Bauerhaus Catering, Frontier Liquors, and Just Rennies Catering. No outside alcohol is allowed into the Friedman Park Event, nor are "to go" cups. Our rental agreement contains the full alcohol policy and alcohol rules.

When can I do a walk through with my vendors?Walkthroughs are allowed but must be prearraged and scheduled. A representative from the event center will do a walkthrough no later than 30 days prior to your event with you and your vendors.

Can I rent outdoor space at the park?Yes, you can! For an additional fee, you can include park spaces into your total rental fee. Some Wedding Packages may include additional outdoor space for a ceremony. Check out Wedding Packages for more information.

How many parking spaces are available?The Friedman Park Event Center has 53 spots in front of the facility and another 150 paved spots right across the drive. The rest of Friedman Park has 200 additional parking spots that are open to the public on a first come first serve basis.

Will the faciltiy be shared with another group?We do have the capability and host multiple events at once. If you want to have exclusive use of the event center we do offer that for an additional fee. Some Wedding Packages include exclusivity, see the Wedding Packages for more details. While your function will be at the Friedman Park Event Center, Friedman Park remains open to the public.

Do I need security for my event?The Friedman Park Event Center reserves the right to require security at any event. However, any event serving alcohol, will require one hired, uniformed, off-duty Warrick County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) deputy for every 150 guests present.
