Policies Overview

Date/Alcohol

Reservations

For Banquet Hall events, we required a signed rental agreement and a 30% deposit to reserve at date. The remaining balance is due 90 days before the event.

For Meeting Room events, a signed rental agreement and full payment is required to make the reservation.

Bar and Alcohol

Alcohol Policy

Clients must use one of our licensed and approved liquor vendors in order to have alcohol at the Friedman Park Event Center.

​

Any event serving alcohol will be required to have security from the Warrick  County Sheriff's Department.

Vendor Policy

We do have an open vendor policy. There is a list of vendors who have already been approved to provide services, however vendors may be added to the list at anytime as along as they provide us with the required documentation.

Catering Policy

We offer an open vendor policy. We provide a list preapproved caterers that do a great job and that have worked with us before.

 

New caterers must be approved, be fully licensed and insured and sign a catering agreement.

 

Our fully equipped catering kitchen is strictly for prepping, plating, and presentation of food; no cooking is allowed.

Insurance Policy

Banquet Hall rentals will require the renter to obtain a special events liability insurance policy for their function.

Cancellation Policy

The Friedman Park Event Center cancellation policy is date based.

 

A rental cancellation 9 months or more before the event date, receive 100% of their paid fees. Cancellations between 3-9 months receive a refund of any paid fees except their deposit. A cancellation within 3 months receives no refund.

Catering Kitchen

Concession Stand

The Friedman Park Event Center offers a large prep kitchen. It is equipped with refrigerators, ample prep space, a commercial ice maker, and warming cabinets.

 

It is for the use of approved caterers for the prepping, plating and presentation of food. There is no cooking equipment in the kitchen.

The Concession Stand at The Friedman Park Event Center is available for rental without a caterer.

 

The concession stand is only for bar use or serving purchased prepared food. It is not to be used for cooking or food preparation.
